Bradley D. Thomas is the son of Lucille Leake, the grandson of the late Winston Freeman Leake, and the great-grandson of the late John Richardson Leake Sr.

Trela Anderson

Trela Anderson is a Ph.D. fellow in English / Creative Writing at UL Lafayette. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1971 and received a B.A. in English from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1994. Three years later, she received an M.A. in English with a concentration in creative writing from the University of Georgia. Her writing interests are creative nonfiction and poetry, and she is currently working on a memoir entitled The Cinderella Stories, which recollects various experiences with her grandmother Cinderella Whitfield. She has taught freshman composition at UL and a creative nonfiction workshop at Hanson Memorial High School in Franklin, Louisiana. In 1998 she received the Webb Award for excellence in teaching at UL.

By age thirty, she is a single mother charged with the responsibility of raising six children on her own. Along her journey, she meets her prince and begins to live out her own fairy tale. The Cinderella Stories is a work steeped in memory and faith.

About the Author
Trela Anderson has studied English and creative writing at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, the University of Georgia, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of English at Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
